What You Will Do

As a Business Intelligence Professional, you will analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insights to decision-makers. You will identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets, construct forecasts, and develop recommendations and strategic/tactical plans. You will also create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and may lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.

• Data Analysis and Insight Generation: Analyze complex business problems using data from various sources to provide actionable insights. Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to determine influences and inform business decisions.

• Forecasting and Strategic Planning: Construct forecasts and develop recommendations based on business data and market knowledge. Develop strategic and tactical plans to support business objectives and drive growth.

• Report and Analysis Specifications: Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and available data elements. Ensure that reports and analyses meet the requirements of stakeholders and provide clear, actionable insights.

• Consultation and Team Leadership: Provide consultation to users and stakeholders to help them understand data insights and inform decision-making. Lead cross-functional teams to address complex business issues and develop data-driven solutions.

• Data Production and Reporting: Directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools. Ensure accuracy and relevance of data to support business analysis and decision-making.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Intelligence Professional) are a plus.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Domo, Tableau, Power BI).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and providing consultation to stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of market trends and business strategy.
