PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

Assumes responsibility for maintenance integrity and makes recommendations for modifications and upgrades for TMT software. Collects and summarizes required information for month-end reports.  Coordinates quality control and maintenance information. Serves as point person for maintenance.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Edits and controls all input to the TMT software application.  Responsible for data integrity and accuracy of all reports from TMT   Makes recommendations to Logistics Division management for application modifications, enhancements and upgrades.

 

Provides leadership and training to maintenance technicians in the proper preparation of all maintenance related paperwork and procedures, including repair orders, parts purchases and accounting and payroll procedures.  Makes Time Force adjustments/reconciliations as needed for GTTC facilities. Maintain GTTC employee PTO Balances. Maintain and process all shop personnel tool allowances.

 

Reconciles all parts inventory purchases / usage to Transportation Accounting records.  Initiates and controls material transfers for transportation supplies between maintenance facilities and Alpha Distribution Center.

 

Coordinates the external maintenance program with the maintenance shops and manages invoicing functions. Track customer survey results.

 

Serves as program coordinator between GROWMARK divisions, facilities, outside carriers for and outside customers maintenance requirements. Analyzes income and expenses.

 

Processes GTTC invoices for payment as well as process credit card payments as needed.

 

Obtains proper documentation to establish new carriers.

 

Prepares and maintains transportation related materials (Quality reports and WIG documents, weekly activity reports, GTTC training records).

 

Maintains the Logistics SharePoint site.

 

Coordinates Truck Transportation Staff meetings.

 

Maintains OSHA 300 files and Annual reports.

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Normally requires a two-year degree or equivalent thereof to demonstrate computer application, accounting, and math skills, along with administrative experience serving the needs of multiple staff employees.

 

Proven ability to acquire an in-depth knowledge of Squarerigger and other Logistics’ System software,

 

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, OMNI query software, and all Logistics accounting statements and budgets. 

 

Proven business writing, business etiquette, records control, office procedures, and problem-solving skills. 

 

Demonstrated planning and organizing skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with frequent interruptions with proven “attention to detail” skills. Ability to get work done through others, work independently, and in a team-oriented environment. Ability to analyze software application problems and make recommendations for modifications. Ability to create complex spreadsheets and accounting reports as needed. 

 

Ability to work hours beyond those considered “normal”. Proven ability to maintain complete confidentiality.

 

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.

 

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
