What we’re looking for

The Fitness Instructor teaches all levels of fitness attendees in a positive environment. 

This is a seasonal position. We are hiring for this position beginning on or around 06/01 and employment is expected to end on or around 09/15. While the company is under no obligation to extend your employment through the season nor beyond the end date, there may be additional opportunities within this or other roles.

Compensation 

• Piece-rate: $15 per session + $3 for each additional person in class up to $50
• $13 / Hour training rate

What you'll do

• Set up and break down classes.
• Provide information regarding activities and classes.
• Maintain clean towel inventory.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise and services for sale, including prices.
• Greet guests and verify membership if needed.

What You’ll Need:

• Reliable transportation required

Skills and Qualifications: 

Technical Skills

• Professional in all forms of communications such as in-person, email, phone calls, video calls and texts
• Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
• Highly responsive and reliable
• Strong attention to detail
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Knowledge of fitness equipment preferred

Work Experience

• Must hold current personal training certifications along with experience and knowledge of training all ages and levels on a one on one basis.
• Yoga Instructor Certification required
• This is for a Personal Trainer.
• Cycling Instructor certification required

• Available to work Sunday through Saturday
• Availability to work early mornings and evenings as needed

Travel

• Travel required for less than 10% of the time
