About the role

Position Summary:

The Deal Desk Analyst manages the sales contract process, working with Legal, Finance, Operations, Sales, IT and Client Services to get any contract related issues resolved.  The incumbent not only assists with the execution of individual contracts, but also has an aim towards improving the overall sales contracting process.

Primary Accountabilities:

Operational (50%)

  • Manage the contracting process including: timing of renewals, flow of pricing and contract requests, collection of necessary information for contract review and feedback, identify and escalate roadblocks that may appear during the contract process, and gaining internal approvals for contract execution
  • Provide training to sales team on process changes
  • Integrate new product and service offerings into the standard pricing and contract process
  • Aid with the implementation and adoption of new tools related to the contract process
  • Identify and execute process improvement opportunities related to the contract process

​Analytical (50%)

  • Take design direction then independently define and create Salesforce reports & SOPs for deal management process improvement
  • Quantify and report on the impact of process improvements
  • Synthesize contract information and understand the strategic implications of contract terms and their financial impact
  • Provide strategic feedback regarding pricing and terms to the larger business

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 years’ related experience; contract management experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in G-Suite
