Customer Business Manager, Walmart

We are hiring a Customer Business Manager to support Walmart! This position is open due to an internal promotion and will work hybrid from the Rogers, AR office. As the Customer Business Manager you will perform:

 

Account Management

• Manage day-to-day customer relationships and communications
• Development and implementation of customer specific business plans to meet and exceed sales targets, volume growth and profitability goals
• Trade fund management with P&L understanding and ownership

Insights & Analytics

• Utilize Nielsen and Luminate data to understand trends, results, and customer behavior
• Identify and develop compelling selling stories to move strategy forward  

Forecasting & Planning

• Monitor sales performance and work closely with internal stakeholders to develop accurate sales forecasts and plans for Walmart

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Partner with internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of strategies
• Collaborate with Walmart’s merchandising and replenishment teams to optimize product availability, placement, and promotions

Digital Acceleration  

• Key contributor to accelerating omni-channel platform via digital shelf management, content and search optimization,  ratings and reviews, online visibility

 

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or category management, or customer development, supporting Walmart and/or Sam’s Club or similar retailer
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Luminate, Item 360)
• P&L and trade management
• Strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
