About the SAP Internship Experience Program: 

 

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.

About the team:

 

Supporting SAP’s purpose to help the world run better and improving people’s lives, the global Sustainability Team is on a mission to transform SAP to a role model of a sustainable company and create positive economic, environmental, and social impact within planetary boundaries. The team collaborates with all internal lines of business and works on embedding sustainability further into SAP’s corporate strategy, product and service portfolio, policies, processes, practices, and everything we do. This means improving the sustainability performance of our own operations, driving customer impact creation, and stimulating new sustainability initiatives across the organization. What you'll do

 

• Contribute to the efforts to update the existing Global Artificial Intelligence Ethics Policy and the Guiding principles. The policy and the guiding principles are the foundation to ensure that our AI work at SAP is responsible and trustworthy
• Contribute to the efforts to constantly improve the responsible AI governance through external best-practice research, process formalization, documentation etc.
• Contribute to existing trustworthy AI workstream tasks, which is to be defined based on the interest and passion
• Explore the connection between AI Ethics and SAP’s human rights agenda to leverage synergies between the two programs
• Support in organizing, running and managing follow-ups of global governance meetings with executive/senior leadership and external experts
• Support in communications of relevant content with internal and external channels
• Support in document writing and presentation preparation that is shared with stakeholders including senior management

Who you are: 

 

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences, preferably Masters
• Preferred fields of study: Sustainability Management, Human Rights & Ethics, Technology impact management
• Computer skills: MS Office, AI knowledge (especially Generative AI) is benefitial
• Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus
• Soft skills: team player, like to work with people, stakeholder engagement

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages. 

 

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
