Position summary:
Support the strategic development of the product master data management vision for the Division Trauma & Extremities ensuring direct alignment to the company’s overall vision and strategy. Support and ensure that an effective and efficient product master data management system is built and maintained. Responsibility to analyze data for cross-functional and external integrity for new and existing Item Master ensuring that all applicable quality system regulations are met.
This position will partner with global business functions, information technology and supporting business to develop sustainable processes, programs and capabilities focused on achieving single version of data across the organization.
What you will do:
- Data Governance & Analytics: Analyze and audit disparate data sources to ensure integrity and consistency.
- Identify source of truth, attribute ownership, and drive data cleansing and standardization.
- Proactively align master data attributes across platforms, ensuring consistency and integrity.
- Understand attribute interdependencies and their impact on business processes.
- Prioritize data remediation and drive data quality improvements across systems.
- Provide complete, accurate documentation of data and processes.
- Support on-demand data extraction and reporting needs.
- Assess and define QMS requirements to optimize structure and ensure alignment with business needs and NPD requirements.
- Support GMP and GDP compliance within the Innovation Excellence organization.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of QMS-related policies and procedures.
- Ensure QMS reflects actual activities and regulatory requirements.
- Support development and delivery of Product Master Data QMS training.
- Benchmark and implement best-in-class practices aligned with industry and regulatory standards.
- Participate in Product Master Data IT discussions and support system integration.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Data Science/Analytics, or related field (Level 8).
- Understanding of data standards and procedural indicators in ERP and related systems preferred.
- Affinity for data definitions, flows, and dependencies., flows and dependencies
