What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate all F117 engine, module and component Quality inspections in accordance with P&W and/or Air Force and Federal Aviation Administration requirements.
  • Provide inspection support to two geographically separated maintenance areas.
  • Perform post repair conformance inspections IAW approved technical data. 
  • Assist internal or external F117 program personnel with concerns, comments or questions on P&W policies or assistance with P&W Proprietary info inquiries.
  • Perform/Track audits of all HMC processes; audits to be performed in-person with an observed technician, ensuring all processes are performed with precision and accuracy.
  • Comply with the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules.
  • Track all activities and responsibilities in internal data aggregation system.
  • Foster positive relations with on-site Boeing Representative and ALC Partnership team to create an integrated approach on all production aspects.
  • Participate in Process Improvement efforts and maintain continual oversight of team members needing to complete ACE certifications Education / Certifications.
  • Mandatory functional HMC knowledge of F117 jet engine components and systems.
  • Familiar with engine technical orders/maintenance manuals.
  • Ability to program and perform calculations using database software/spreadsheets.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Adobe.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
  • 1.5+ years of jet engine experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Some college course work preferred.
  • F117 experience preferred.
  • F117 SAP database and systemic interface experience in all F117 QA inspection areas.
  • F117 Materials experience preferred.

This role is:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 56,000 USD - 112,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
