About The Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary VP of Product to lead WonderOS—the technological backbone and "secret sauce" that sequences, cooks, and delivers world-class food with unmatched precision.  WonderOS is a complex, horizontal platform integrating in-house software with acquired modules in robotics and logistics As the leader of this matrixed organization, you will ensure our operational products are in perfect sync while evolving our kitchen systems (KDS, Order Manager, back end systems) to empower daily operators.  Your mission is to bridge the gap between high-tech automation and “lightly trained” labor to manage 20+ restaurants and 400+ menu items seamlessly in a single re-imagined food-hall location.  And we are slated to have over 200+ physical locations in the next year!

The Impact You Will Make

• Vision and Strategy: Define and execute the product strategy, roadmap, transforming it into an enterprise-level solution for internal use and external partners 

• Operational Excellence: Partner with engineers and operations researchers to build solutions that reduce complexity while driving up throughput and accuracy/quality 

• Cross functional leadership: Serve as a strategic bridge between consumer product, culinary, and automation teams to ensure seamless post-checkout  customer experience 

• Full lifecycle ownership: Lead every aspect of the product journey, from deep data analysis and software design to global rollout and scaling

• Team Building: hire, mentor, and lead high-performing teams of product managers, designers and analytics

• Agile Advocacy: Ensure the organization maintains a high velocity through disciplined adherence to agile methodologies

What You Bring to the Table

The ideal candidate has experience building quality user experiences across multiple interdependent systems from the ground up, preferably in a supply chain, logistics, or robotics-integrated environment. Has an inventive and creative "do-what-it-takes" spirit, demonstrates a bias for action, and the ability to make progress with limited resources. This position requires someone with a solid technical background and an ability to partner cross-functionally. As a startup in hyper-growth, experience operating and thriving in small, fast-paced environments will set you up for success, allowing you to be comfortable in our hands-on environment where change is the only constant.

• 12-15+ years of product ownership experience

• 5-7 years leading product teams working on multiple systems in parallel

• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with logistics, or supply chain concepts a plus

• Proven track record of identifying, designing, and implementing operational change while working cross functionally across an organization

• Experience hiring and managing top project management, design and analytics talent.

• Self-starter, ability to work autonomously

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels including surfacing tradeoffs between teams and to drive consensus

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

• Constant attention to detail

• SQL, Python, Looker/Data visualization skills a plus
