Enterprise Customer Engineer

Nokia of America Corporation, Enterprise Customer Engineer (Multiple Positions), Raleigh, NC.
Design, upgrade, and migrate Access Networks for Nokia customers, using Network Management systems, including the latest technologies.
Engage and interact with customers in both pre and post-sales support activities, providing assistance for new equipment and new software releases.
Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as cloud networks, servers, and other data communications networks.
Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.
Resolve computer network problems. Document network-related activities or tasks.
Drive technical knowledge transfer and network design recommendations to Nokia customers on our products and solutions and our new releases, as well as provide ad-hoc training and support on the provisioning and operations of the Access network.
Develop configuration playbooks and validate existing playbooks with new software releases.
Provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of business strategies.
Analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert. #LI-DNI
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following:
Access technologies including GPON (Gigabyte Passive Optical Network) and XGS-PON (10 Gigabit Symmetrical);
SDAN (Software Defined Access Network), both management platform and OLTs;
Layer 2 and Layer3 protocols;
Develop configuration templates for software, hardware configuration templates, IP addressing, VLAN, Capacity, and QoS plans; and,
Network engineering, network design, and network integration.
Domestic travel up to 15% required.
