Your Next Career Opportunity – Regional Site Manager, Co-location

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the Structural Engineering Service Cycle associated with Customer Co-Location Applications within their assigned geographic area while ensuring that these towers and rooftops are continually marketed and in compliance with industry standards. Position will also ensure the structural integrity and readiness of SBA's assets to maximize yield through the efficient allocation of ground and tower space. The position will be required to manage high volume projects and tasks in a very fast paced and ever changing environment. This position will have a high degree of interaction with SBA Customers and multiple business units within the organization.

What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the Structural Engineering Service Cycle on SBA assets, which includes but is not limited to Mount Analysis, Mount Reinforcement Designs, Structural Analysis, Structural Modification Designs, Structural Modification Project Management and Investigative Field Services associated with customer projects.
  • Promptly review and approve co-location applications and utility applications verifying installation of tower equipment.
  • Provide Customers and SBA Services groups with required Due Diligence in regards to asset structural capacity and RAD Center availability needed to move customer projects forward.
  • Obtaining of quotes/costs relating to all Engineering Deliverables including but not limited to Structural Analysis, Construction Drawings, Modification Drawings, Post-Inspection Reports and As-Built Drawings.
  • Review all Engineering Deliverables for quality and accuracy, including construction drawings for tower, ground and utility installs on SBA assets.
  • Work directly with customers to address questions, change orders or issues that arise during the engineering review, design or construction process removing obstacles that impede quick processing time.
  • Collaborate with structural engineers, field operations personnel, sales and customers to provide creative solutions on complex projects while maintaining structural integrity on assets in assigned region.
  • Respond to all Engineering Service requests, status updates and delivery notifications in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and present reporting and forecasting updates on a regular basis associated with engineering services to SBA Management and Customers.
  • Review application reports for status of application processing times promptly removing obstacles that impeded quick processing times.
  • Responsible for keeping all internal databases updated with site information including document uploading/storage throughout Engineering process.
  • Communicate with Regional Site Managers throughout equipment installation to ensure actual equipment does not exceed contracted equipment.
  • Partner closely with Customers and SBA Accounting department to resolve any issues that may arise in the receiving or invoicing process for Engineering Service related Purchase Orders.
  • Keep SBA Management well informed regarding asset management issues including structural integrity issues, asset yield, capacity issues, and customer satisfaction issues.
  • Responsible for updating internal databases and project management tools with forecasts and status updates for all projects within assigned region.
  • Close out customer colocation applications and upload all necessary Operation specific documents to internal databases upon project completion.
  • Assist Tower Network Operations team with other projects
