Your Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the continued development and innovation of LedaFlow - one of the world’s most advanced simulators for multiphase flow. You will join a cross-disciplinary team of highly skilled software developers, physicists and domain experts, contributing to the robustness, performance, and evolution of the software.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain key functionality in LedaFlow

• Enforce and maintain high code quality standards, incorporating code metrics and best practices to guarantee robust and maintainable software.

• Create and maintain documentation of design, architecture and critical code sections.

• Collaborate closely with the Lead Software Developer and product team

• Lead own software development projects

• Test and verification of LedaFlow features

• Implementation of new features and bug corrections

• Contribute to and write specifications and effort estimates

• Participate and further develop the cloud environment of the simulator

• Support end-users

Requirements:

• Strong Software development competence

• Familiarity with software release management and deployment

• Programming expertise: Modern C++

• Comfortable working on both Windows and Linux platforms

• MSc or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience

Bonus skills:

• Familiarity with Cmake and QT

• Fortran as an additional programming language

• Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps practices, tools, and automation processes to improve software delivery.

• Good understanding of physics and mathematics
