McLeod Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Inpatient Adult Rehabilitation team. In this role, you will help patients regain mobility, improve function, reduce pain, and achieve their highest level of independence through evidence-based physical therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations utilizing patient history, observation, and objective assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, learning styles, and therapeutic needs.
  • Provide treatment for a variety of orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular, and functional impairments.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, treatment records, and discharge summaries in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) while supporting achievement of patient goals.
  • Participate in departmental initiatives, performance improvement activities, continuing education, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Active South Carolina Physical Therapy License required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient-centered care skills.
