Operates manufacturing equipment within a production facility. Installs, mounts, fastens, aligns and adjusts parts, components, wiring and infrastructure components. May also perform electrical and mechanical assembly of various components to be assembled into a final product. Ensures units are developed and integrated according to assembly and customer specifications.

• Performs as an expert in all areas of build and production processes (technical expert).
• Addresses process issues and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Provides training and technical support to less experienced team members.
• May stand in for supervisor when necessary or work on cross-functional teams that require assembler / fabricator insight.
• Tests assemblies per quality control instructions.
• Operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.
• Applies in depth knowledge and experience to set up, calibrate and maintain assembly / fabrication tools.
• Resolves complex issues escalated from less experienced team members.

Required Qualifications

• Education or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Assembly and Fabricator.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
