JOB DESCRIPTION:
Snyder Equipment has supplied quality products to the railroad industry since 1936. From our early days supplying water delivery systems to steam locomotives to constructing today’s sophisticated rail support equipment, we have developed extensive product lines dedicated to servicing locomotives in both freight and transit operations. Our offerings include fueling systems, wayside and service track equipment, onboard locomotive components, remanufacturing capabilities, rail-yard expansion/renovation projects, and custom fabrication work. Essential Functions

Understand all facets of the warehouse process.
- Fill in for Warehouse Supervisor as necessary.
- Understands how to store customer and in-house material.
- Complete receiving reports accurately
- Understand all shipping functions in SAP and be able to use UPS World Ship and customer data base (LTL). Understand all customer routing guides and adhere to procedures.
- Maintain inventory.
- Proper use of a forklift, power and manual tools.
- Instruct cell employees on procedures, proper and safe use of all tools and equipment.
- Conduct OTJ training for all new employees.
- Conduct morning meetings, issue instructions for daily goals and shift personnel as needed to achieve those goals.
- Maintain a 5S environment in the cell at all times, and immediately address any and all safety issues.
- Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
- Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
- Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPI) as defined by the Goal Tree.
