Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, Florida, is looking for a Senior Manager, Real Estate and Facilities Operations.
SUMMARY
Oversees day-to-day real estate operations in all the company’s facilities, lease management.
Handles lease data, rent schedules, compliance, and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate processing of lease information. Works with Legal and outside brokers to ensure that lease abstracts are created and maintained. Chronicles all critical dates and sets up reminders to the appropriate personnel for action items (i.e., lease renewals, lease terminations, early buyouts, etc.) Works cross-functionally to ensure that all business units have fully operating facilities that meet their needs. Focuses on sustainability goals, energy management, and environmental initiatives across the portfolio in conjunction with EHS to create sustainable and resilient facilities throughout the MPWA portfolio. Manages capital projects, special initiatives, and space planning to support business growth and efficiency needs in conjunction with Strategy & Planning and Transaction Manager. Optimize office layouts and space utilization based on headcount projections, and move management, working closely with HR and IT. Streamline vendor selection and management processes for facility services and construction projects working with MPWA Global Sourcing to ensure competitive pricing and quality service. Works closely with EHS to ensure all facilities are following EHS policies and regulations. Manages Facilities Management Supervisor and Senior Planner (see below).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review, proposed leases, acquisition contracts, other legal documents.
- Works with Legal on document review and validation.
- Negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
- Create, review and approve PO’s.
- Manage day-to-day facilities’ budget.
- Conducts and documents routine inspections.
- Check completed work by vendors and contractors.
- Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
- Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees.
- Coordinates the mail deliveries from Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL, USPS, and office supply companies.

- Travel up to 10% - Domestic.
