The Stockroom Associate will be responsible for the following:

Receive, store, issue, and account for materials, supplies, and equipment.  Ensure work is accomplished with high quality, in a timely fashion and is compliant with all applicable regulations.

This position is for 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with inventory control, stockroom, kitting, expediting, and shipping and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures.

  • Receives, checks, stores, issues, and ships a variety of items and maintains inventory control including cycle counts.

  • Counts, sorts, compile records and inventory quantities, types of materials received, stored, and issued in plants.

  • Compiles and verifies stock records against source documents and addresses errors.

  • Assists with flow of materials and products in repair areas according to established guidelines.

  • Tracks and traces goods.

  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments.

  • Stores materials in bins, floors, or shelves with identifying information.

  • Attends weekly online calls to resolve discrepancies with orders.

  • Proficiently uses computer software (SAP).

  • Maintains a neat and orderly work area.

  • Transport product with or without product carts.

  • Sit and or stand for extended periods of time bend, squat, stoop, reach, turn as required.

  • Use hands, arms, and shoulders for extended periods of time to perform material handling.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR in the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations require. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted.

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Avionics industry is preferred.

  • Experience with SAP.

  • Experience with stockroom operations.
