<p><strong>Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p> <p><strong>Producing/Advising</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values</li> <li>Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates</li> <li>Uses consultative sales approach to identify prospects and their needs, and offer tailored solutions</li> <li>Pursues and sells our services to retirement plan prospects.</li> <li>Solidifies client relationships and maintains responsibility for ongoing client service in conjunction with Retirement Plan Managers</li> <li>Completes investment analysis of clients/prospects fund options and offers guidance based on IMA Wealth’s best in class list</li> <li>Under moderate guidance, provides strategic recommendations and tactical implementation of plan enhancements, including but not limited to vendor selection & conversions, plan design optimization, compliance oversight, and investment due diligence</li> <li>Works collaboratively with the investment team and retirement plan managers to provide a consistent client experience</li> <li>Develops and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external referral sources</li> </ul> <p><strong>People Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manages the work of assigned associates, providing clear communication of expectations, established timeframes, regular progress updates, and annual performance evaluations</li> <li>Facilitates team meetings, communicating division information</li> <li>Participates in the hiring process for direct reports as well as additional department hires</li> <li>Serves as a mentor and coach for members of the team as needed</li> <li>Provides feedback to Advisory Services team members, and their direct supervisors as needed, in support of their on-going professional development goals to ensure client expectations are met</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Experience and Skills </strong>include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and 3+ years’ sales experience in the retirement plan services</li> <li>FINRA Series 65 required (additional licensing may be needed)</li> <li>Life Insurance and Variable Contracts licenses preferred</li> <li>Knowledge of ERISA laws and the retirement plan industry preferred</li> <li>Moderate travel required (25-50%)</li> <li>Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)</li> </ul> <p><em><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":2,"335559738":120,"335559740&a
