Microsoft 365 Quality Assurance Lead

Evolver is seeking a full-time, remote Microsoft 365 Quality Assurance Lead to join their team. Technologies include out-of-the-box Microsoft 365 solutions, Power Automate Flow, Power Apps, SharePoint Framework, and Azure. Client is based in San Francisco and some Pacific hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the quality assurance efforts for Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Azure projects.
• Drive the establishment of quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Scrum Master, Developers, Architects, Analysts and Business Users to turn functional specifications into functional test cases
• Develop and execute test cases for full applications, small customizations, or out-of-the-box configuration changes
• Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of automation frameworks and tools.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input and guidance on quality assurance processes and practices.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports
• Provide problem-solving expertise and analysis to test designs
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality assurance and software testing.

Basic Qualifications

• 3 years expertise supporting SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools
• 3 years of experience working with Jira, Agile, Azure DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD best practices
• 3 years of experience writing and supporting custom PowerShell scripts
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3 years experience as a Team Lead
• 2 years of experience with Veracode or SonarQube

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years expertise supporting SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools
• 5 years of experience working with Jira, Agile, Azure DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD best practices
• 5years of experience writing and supporting custom PowerShell scripts
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools, and the ability to drive automation initiatives
• Experience with security and code coverage scanning tools: Veracode, SonarQube
• Experience with QA tools like Playwright and/or Selenium, Postman, JEST, TestNG, Maven and/or Gradle
• Experience with device/browser emulation or simulation tools like BrowserStack or LambdaTest
• Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB or CSTE, are a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
