Valet Attendant-Part Time (Weekends/Evenings)

It’s a fast‑paced role where you keep the vibe upbeat and help set the tone for an amazing Harrah’s experience</span></p> <ul><li><p><span>Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in a clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a positive, ready</span><span><span>‑</span></span><span>to</span><span><span>‑</span></span><span>learn attitude.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Greets guests and team members warmly and professionally, supporting our Family Style Service culture.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.</span></p></li><li><span>Greet each guest as they arrive with enthusiasm and a smile.</span></li><li><span>Make sure you open doors for all guests, men and women.</span></li><li><span>Safely park the vehicle in the designated Valet parking spot/ or directed by Management Team, make sure the windows are rolled up, keys are in hand and lock the doors. </span></li><li><span>Prior to parking vehicle, quickly check it for damage, dents, scratches, broken glass, and document the damage seen on the vehicle ticket.</span></li><li><span>Attendants will be responsible for ticketing on the drive.</span></li><li><span>Assist with transport baggage of arriving/departing guests if necessary.</span></li><li><span>Retrieve vehicles in a safe and timely manner, opening the doors for guests and thanking them for coming to Harrah’s.</span></li><li><span>Make sure each guest receives a claim ticket and a ticket must be collected upon retrieval of vehicle.</span></li><li><span>Handle customer interaction, complaints and challenging situations while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude.</span></li><li><p><span>Creates a positive and “luck building” environment for guests and other employees.</span></p></li></ul> <ul><li><p><span>Must be at least 18 yrs. of age.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to read, write, and understand English.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Report to work in a neat and clean uniform, with slip resistant shoes. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.</span></p></li><li><span>High School Diploma or equivalent required. </span></li><li><p><span>Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business. </span></p></li><li><span>Must pass background check, driving background check.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends. </span></li><li><span>Must present a well-groomed appearance.</span></li><li><span>Minimum six months to a year cash handling experience strongly preferred within high volume industries. </span></li><li><span>Must have excellent customer service/communication skills. </span></li><li><p><span>Ability to work in a loud, fast</span><span><span>‑</span></span><span>paced environment while handling multiple tasks under time constraints.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.</span></p></li><li><span>Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality. </span></li><li><span>Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more. </span></li><li><span>Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift. </span></li><li><span>Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. </span></li><li><span>Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust. </span></li><li><span>Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues</span><span>.</span></li></ul>
