What you will do:
- Work closely with field operators to improve production
- Diagnose downhole mechanical issues with use of Echometer, and shoots fluid levels and bottom hole pressures with Echometer
- Recommends adjustments in SCADA automation set points and recommends standard methodologies for plunger lift.
Who you are:
You have:
- 2-5 years of experience in oil and gas operations along with a bachelor’s degree preferably however an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted
- Full knowledge of concepts and applications of plunger lift in-depth and expert knowledge of SCADA automation
- A valid drivers license that will be verified upon hire
You can:
- Show basic knowledge and general applications of the oil and gas industry in addition to full knowledge of concepts and applications of oil and gas safety along with gas well deliquification
- Use well-site equipment in addition to analyzing production and pressure trends of producing wells
You are:
- An excellent written and verbal communicator who can plan and prioritize work successfully
- Proficient in using a computer, an echometer and in SCADA automation
Working Conditions:
- Work performed in the field working with pressurized lines and valves 70% of the time with 30% working within the office with limited travel
Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
