About the Role

We are looking to hire a Senior to join our growing Financial Services Tax team at Grant Thornton. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients, supporting the delivery of high-quality tax compliance and advisory services across the financial services sector.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering client engagements, developing technical expertise, and building strong client relationships while working closely with Managers and the wider Financial Services Tax team.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of tax compliance and advisory services for a portfolio of financial services clients, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
Prepare and review income and corporation tax returns in accordance with Irish tax legislation and company law requirements.
Research technical tax matters, identify tax planning opportunities, and assist in developing practical solutions for clients.
Build strong client relationships by responding to day-to-day queries and providing timely, high-quality service.
Collaborate with colleagues across the team, sharing knowledge and contributing to the successful delivery of client engagements.

Skills & Experience

AITI/CTA qualified, with 1+ years' post-qualification experience in a tax practice environment.
Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation, with experience in tax compliance; financial services tax experience is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client and team relationships.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous learning and developing a career in professional services.
