Senior Business Analyst

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Perform comprehensive requirement gathering and analysis using various methods (interviews, workshops, surveys, job observation, wireframes/mock-ups) to ensure clear, complete, and consistent business requirements.
• Coordination with Architects: Liaise with Solutions/Business Architects to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with corporate enterprise processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to capture and understand their business needs and processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and maintain effective communication.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality, consistency, and completeness of business use cases and requirements, and supervise contract performance and consultant guidance to meet standards.
• Agile Methodologies: Manage product backlog, participate in iteration and release planning, and actively engage in agile ceremonies to support continuous delivery and improvement.
• Documentation & Traceability: Develop Requirements Management Plans and Traceability Matrixes to monitor and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Business Process Improvement: Contribute to the streamlining and harmonization of business processes, and support continuous service and process improvement initiatives.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all activities and deliverables comply with the Contracting Authority's quality standards, policies, and methodologies, and contribute to governance activities such as reporting and action follow-up.
• Market Awareness & Adaptation: Maintain an updated view of market evolution within the associated perimeter to inform business decisions and adapt to industry changes.
• User Acceptance & Support: Support the business during user acceptance testing, ensure successful signoff, provide feedback for stakeholder training, and offer ongoing support for implemented solutions.

Requirements

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Minimum 4 years of education (master degree or equivalent), after the secondary school, in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent academic qualifications in the areas of Management, Engineering and/or Information Technologies).
• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience acquired in positions relevant to the job description.
• Sound knowledge of business analysis methodologies and best practices, demonstrated by practical experience in IT projects and preferably also by certifications on internationally recognized methodology for business analysis (such as PRINCE2, AGILE, TOGAF, LEAN methodology, BABOK and ISTQB or equivalent);
• Experience in requirements development and management in software development projects during the whole software development life cycle;
• Experience in feasibility studies, market studies (software), and/or preparation of business cases and IT work plans;
• Experience in contract management of IT services;
• Certification in Prince 2 and BABOK is considered an asset;
• Quality-driven, service-minded and results-oriented;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with clients and project team members.

Additional Qualification, Knowledge and Skills

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification is highly desirable.
• Candidates should have proven experience in acting as a Product Owner within an Agile team, effectively managing product backlogs, and delivering value in iterative cycles.
