Supply Chain Manager, Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) - US Based, Remote

(Preferred location: Eastern or Central Time Zones)

 

The ANH Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring that products are available to customers and premix operations in a timely manner. This is a strategic role that connects regional needs into dsm-firmenich global production and distribution network, driving internal processes to deliver great service to our customers while also managing healthy inventory levels.

 

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic person to join the ANH North America Regional Supply Chain team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee inventory levels of group supplied materials for ANH in North America, liaising with Global Supply team for shipments and inventory planning.
• Ensure adequate inventory level in the distribution centers and premix sites to maintain uninterrupted blending operations and service to customers, coordinate actions to consume blocked and aging inventory.
• Coordinate planning meetings with premix sites, lead regional STR calls and Monthly Global Supply review meetings, review Supply Chain reports.
• Ensure Master Data on SAP P47 and APO are maintained, manages phase in/out of product codes. Oversee and optimize stock transfer orders.
• Manage local purchase processes, following global guidelines during ingredient shortages, and collaborate with Nutritional Services for material acceptance and plant substitutions.
• Support order fulfillment process, special batch requirements, and assist the ANH S&OP Lead NA in managing working capital effectively to meet regional inventory targets.

You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, scientific, supply chain discipline or related field.
• 5+ years of proven/effective experience in complex supply chain operations
• Good Microsoft Office skills, PowerBI is a plus.
• Experience in SAP (APO/R3), BW and the master data driving the various systems and processes.
• Excellent influential and communication skills working with all levels from planners-senior stakeholders in a matrix organization; high degree of resilience and organizational skills.
