We are looking to fill a Facility Engineer – Materials Management Specialist position working as a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on long-term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in West Point, PA. This position offers full benefits, sick time, 401K, paid holidays, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, dispensing, and warehouse management of materials used in the preparation of clinical supplies, safety assessments, stability, and experimental formulated drug products.

  • Works with multiple business partners to ensure material availability required to support on time delivery.

Examples of activities:

  • Managing materials from receipt to release, including collection of all required documentation. • Inspecting incoming materials to verify contents and quality

  • Supporting shipment of materials both locally and globally

  • Dispensing materials for clinical production

  • Supporting forecast analysis for material procurement

  • Supporting warehouse management activities

  • Adhering to SOPs, cGMPs and safety procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or equivalent field

  • Associate’s degree with relevant experience would be considered.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 4 or more years in Manufacturing, Materials Management, Warehouse, or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

  • Technical skills to be able to navigate computer applications.

  • Attention to detail, communication skills

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Procurement skills (analyzing/forecasting)

  • Facility/Warehouse inventory management

  • Working in an operations support role

  • Technical writing – including investigations, SOPs
