Team Gymnastics Coach

The Team Coach Gymnastics Reports to: Program Director Gymnastics

CORE EXPECTATIONS:

• Must be able to attend all team practices (4 nights a week) and occasionally weekend meets. May also be responsible for coaching some pre-team and recreational classes.
• Is familiar with and has worked with USA Gymnastics guidelines for all Xcel levels.
• Follows all YMCA as well as the Gymnastics studios Rules & policies.

• Age requirements: Must be over the age of 21.
• Must have team coaching experience.
• Must be SafeSport certified.
• Willingness to accept responsibility.
• Be Enthusiastic and positive while coaching.
• Must be able to lift & move gymnastics equipment up to 40lbs.
• Possess effective Teaching & Coaching skills.
• Possess proper spotting techniques.
• Possess organizational skills.
