Pratt & Whitney's Compression Systems Engineering Support to Operations (CSE ESTO) organization is seeking a goal-oriented, detail-focused Integrated Project Team Lead - Senior Engineer to work for our Compressor Static Hardware Team in East Hartford or Middletown, CT.
What You Will Do:
- Lead operations and technical execution for Fan and HPC Module hardware tasks.
- Coordinate and manage Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to fulfill project goals.
- Oversee budgeting and planning for hardware tasks and initiatives.
- Present project status and technical updates to internal and external leadership.
- Address quality issues and drive product improvements through change initiatives and risk mitigation.
- Travel up to 25% (domestic and International).
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and 5 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced degree and 3 years of engineering experience.
- U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or an Advanced Engineering degree, or an MBA.
- Experience working in the Aerospace Industry and jet engines.
- Previous gas turbine compressor experience.
- Working proficiency with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, MS Project, or other scheduling software.

Department/Segment Overview:
- Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO) provides dedicated support by eliminating quality notifications, escapes, works stops and enabling producibility and delivery of legacy and new parts, assemblies, modules, and engines. ESTO covers all engine programs and part families, enabling engine deliveries, first piece reviews, first article inspections, analysis automation, process certification. ESTO also supports the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) initiative in Operations. Technical disciplines in ESTO include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Product Definition, and Manufacturing Engineering.
- Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products. Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition. Aftermarket and Sustainment Engineering executes both military and commercial repair design and repairs substantiations for engines. We create and improve ASE business and repair development tools. We design, develop, and qualify military repair tooling.
