Sr. Systems Engineer - Security Clearance Required

MindPoint group is searching for a Senior Systems Engineer to support a law enforcement customer in Washington, DC

Responsibilities:

• Support infrastructure systems on Windows-based platforms
• Architect, design, support, and maintain high availability, distributed, multi-clustered server infrastructure and systems
• Responsible for server infrastructure analysis, optimization, and capacity planning
• Technical writing/creation of formal documentation such as architecture diagrams, technical designs, and SOPs

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 8 additional years of relevant experience.
• Minimum eight (8) years of general work experience and six (6) years of relevant professional experience in the IT field, preferably in an enterprise hosting environment
• Experience with engineering and operating and maintaining a 24/7 mission-critical data center infrastructure
• Must have a working knowledge of
  • DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
  • Microsoft Server 2012-2019
  • VMWare ESXi
  • Active Directory

Desired:

• SQL
• Scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
• Cloud Providers such as AWS and Azur
• Linux administration
• Citrix Workspace and Apps

Clearance: Applicable US Government Clearance Required
