The staff Physical Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of a registered physical therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for direct patient care, family/caregiver training, documentation, and team communication for all assigned patients. In addition, the Physical Therapy Assistant performs departmental supportive tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:- Coursework/Training: Graduate from a 2-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or If initially licensed after 2010: Graduate of a CAPTE Program (Commission on Accredited Physical Therapy Education) per Medicare Requirements Ref. 42CFR484.4.
- California Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year experience in rehabilitation.
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
