RESPONSIBILITES

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

• Remove trash and classrooms every day.
• Vacuum classrooms everyday.
• Respond to faculty requests for services.
• Wash floors following established procedures.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Make minor repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, and make other miscellaneous repairs as assigned.
• Paint halls, classrooms, and other areas of the buildings as needed.
• Attend workshops and safety training as assigned.
• Maintain assigned equipment in proper working order.
• Report needed information from which proper work orders might be prepared.
• Assist and maintain a proper inventory of equipment, supplies, and other necessary items required to perform assigned duties.
• Report all problems encountered to the Supervisor of Operations.
• Work additional hours upon reasonable request.

Requirements

• All employees must be fingerprinted and pass a background screening process by the Clearinghouse. 
• High School Diploma or High School Diploma equivalent (GED)
• Ability to maintain, fix, and build what is needed for the school campus.
• Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy items (up to 40 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends if required
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required
• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
