Are you the master builder who can help us plan exciting coordinated communications experiences using everything LEGO has to play with?

LEGO is looking for an experience strategist who knows their owned from their earned, who dreams in consumer journeys, who gets as passionate about a communications planning process as they do about big adventurous brave ideas.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build and define multi-channel communications plans combining owned, earned, paid and shared media.

  • Bring big ideas to life across our ecosystem in both campaign periods and across the year, through clear, compelling and connected user journeys across multiple touchpoints.

  • Combine creativity and efficiency through strong understanding of audiences, touchpoints and media thinking.

  • Apply your understanding of how brands grow, and how effective comms build impact and get results.

  • Use data and research to advise your approach, whilst being open to creative innovation and exploration.

  • Partner closely with Strategy and creative leads to ensure our creative ideas make most effective use of a coordinated mix of owned, earned and paid channels, and are deployed via innovative, targeted media and technology.

  • Develop strong insights based on deep understanding of consumer and shopper needs as well as channels and behaviors.

  • Build measurable campaign KPI’s, helping to enhance creative efficiency and improve sell rate of innovative ideas.

  • Strong storytelling, persuasive pitching and partner engagement to get teams excited and onboard with your thinking.

  • Help to craft and develop our planning processes and collaboration across agency, marketing and channel teams.

  • Support your colleagues to refine their thinking, and establish relationships across LEGO to build engaging experiences.

  • Interested and curious about the world, challenges our view, and brings new perspectives to how we work.

The LEGO Agency is responsible for crafting and building coordinated comms experiences across all touchpoints: owned, earned, shared and paid, and we’re looking for someone to join the team who will build the most engaging and effective processes for kids, adults and brands.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven ability in a brand communications planning or strategy role, responsible for channel and campaign planning, and communication architecture.

  • A consistent track record of implementing comprehensive communications planning strategies across channels that brings ideas to life.

  • Experience of using data-driven planning tools, audience insight (qual and quant) and effective data to build plans, and working within a defined planning processes.

  • Experience of working with channels/ media owners to develop creative and executional thinking.

  • Ability to inform, move with, and stay ahead of consumer behaviors, technology platforms, and cultural shifts.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills – written, verbal, and emotional to be a critical member of our team.

  • Desire to stay close to projects throughout their life-cycle to maintaining strategic and creative excellence.

  • Passion for crafting communication work that has an impact, that matters and that’s memorable.

  • Shown experience as a storyteller and communicator; must have past examples of thought leadership.

New Location Update

This position will initially be based at 501 Boylston St or 10 St. James Street in Boston, before moving to a new office location at 1001 Boylston St by mid-2025. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.

Relocation

There is no budget for domestic or international relocation for this role.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $124,000 - $187,000 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
