SR Analyst

The Data Analyst supports the overall Data and Analytics (D&A) program by working closely with D&A, Project Owners, and other key stakeholders to track progress of D&A initiatives, clarify dependencies with other enterprise initiatives, perform market analyses and financial estimations where needed (in partnership with finance). The Analyst reports to ABM’s Head of Operations Management with a focus on a national client. This will be a REMOTE position with light travel included. 

    

PAY: $65-85K 

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS   

• Stay in sync with the project owners on priorities and day to day decision making    
• Support the project owners in collaborating with other teams and leadership to ensure team strategy aligns with overall project vision    
• Define, implement, and track performance metrics 
• Prep and support the team on project demos as needed working with the owners    
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies 
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies  
• Establishes and maintains exceptional client relationships and rapport Develops operational improvement plans and implements process changes for assigned projects 
•  Cultivates a strong safety culture to provide a safe work environment  
• Gathers and maintains required administrative tasks for daily, weekly or monthly reporting    

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS    

• 2-5+ years of experience.    
• Problem solving ability to identify next steps, execute and track progress on business related tasks.  
• Effective communication skills with ability to present complex messages and communicate the nuance on the status and next steps of various initiatives.    
• Detail orientation to track steps needed and align stakeholders across initiatives across the business     
• Ownership mindset and ability to work across functions to coordinate on complex tasks and dependencies.    
• Hunger for continuous improvement and a desire to be challenged.    
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment.   
• Knowledge of business and industry trends and applications across all lines of business for competitive analysis.   
• Collaborative, work well within a small, high-performing team.    
• Minimal travel required (less than 10%). Currently working as a virtual team with exception to occasional site visits & operational understanding.    

    

TECHNICAL SKILLS    

• Advanced in Excel - ability to build financial models, perform quick analyses using pivot tables   
• Power BI user able to develop ad-hoc analyses by joining and analyzing moderate sized datasets and exports.    
• PowerPoint, Microsoft Word based reporting and presentation delivery.
