Job Summary

 

We are now looking a Senior Buyer to be responsible for purchasing activities involving production materials, components and corporate services needed for delivery projects and company operations. This involves activities of sourcing and contracting. You will be preparing negotiations using thorough quotation analysis purchasing.
You will be based at Denton, Texas.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
 

What you will do

 

As a Senior Buyer you will: 

 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to source new vendors.
• Ensure supplier contract legal compliance with support from legal department.
• Obtain quotations and perform bid analysis. 
• Relationship management; ensure good relations with stakeholders, both externally and internally.
• Drive negotiation and contracting, considering Global contracts, bank guarantees, own specifications, and customer specifications in correct order of importance. 
• Ensure Purchase Order accuracy, in line with business needs and perfect PO (purchasing order) process, meaning smooth goods receipt and payment to supplier as per agreement.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.   
   

We believe you have

 

• A bachelor’s degree 

• At least 5 years’ procurement experience

• Must have experience working with an ERP, strongly desirable to have experience with SAP R3

• Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong analytical and critical skills 

• Strong proficiency with data analysis 

• Ability to effectively prioritize workload. 

• Great negotiation and communication skills

• Ability on stakeholder management
