Job Description

Curinos is searching for an experienced professional to join a growing team focused on bank treasury and balance sheet management topics, which serves financial institution clients through consulting engagements and analytical products.  This team member will:

• SERVE AS TREASURY SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT on team focused treasury and balance sheet management issues including but not limited to interest rate risk, liquidity risk, risk-adjusted profitability measurement (including funds transfer pricing), forecasting, funding strategy, pricing analytics and strategy
• OVERSEE CONSULTING ENGAGEMENTS which routinely by defining the key issues, developing hypotheses, conducting analyses to validate the hypothesis (typically through analysis of client or Curinos-proprietary industry datasets), designing analytical tools, leading client relationships, and formulating project deliverables
• IDENTIFY NEW CONTENT OPPORTUNITIES from delivery of client engagements, and follow through by creating sales materials, client proposals, and other collateral to grow the pipeline of business
• PROVIDE THOUGHT LEADERSHIP on identified treasury and balance sheet management issues by challenging the industry status quo frameworks and methods of analysis, contributing to Curinos publications and webinars, and developing business cases for new products or services to clients
• MENTOR AND COACH junior staff to help them perform at a level that will nurture professional growth, and provide background in subject matter that enables junior staff to contribute more effectively and independently

Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 plus competitive Bonus

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial services strategy/consulting experience or 7+ years in treasury/BSM role at a bank
• Experience with aforementioned treasury and balance sheet management issue areas
• Experience with (or oversight of) data science/analytics, particularly deposit modeling for treasury applications
• Project/engagement management experience, including presentation to senior team members or clients/regulators
• Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure to meet client deadlines to ensure client success
• B.A. required; M.B.A., M.S. Finance, or related degrees valuable but not required
