Compensation
- Non exempt, hourly
- New hires can expect to be placed on our starting wage scale of $23.27 to $27.36 per hour.
- Based on performance, there is room to grow on our full wage scale of $23.27 to $31.39 per hour.
- This role may be eligible for a Saturday shift differential of 10%
Work Schedule: 40 hours, Mon-Sat

Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician at UCNW, you would be responsible for performing technical and administrative functions that support the pharmacy dispensing operations and health center prescription refill and prior authorization requests.

Requirements
- Possesses a basic level of written and verbal communications skills, computational and computer skills and mathematical knowledge at a level typically acquired through completion of a general studies high school program.
- Possesses specific knowledge and training in Pharmacy typically acquired during completion of a certificate or license program.
- Must possess additional expertise in the field of Pharmacy, acquired through practice or exposure to various conditions, beyond the formal knowledge (or on the job training), allowing employees to perform more advanced techniques.
- Graduation from, or completion of, a WA Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission approved pharmacy technician training program.
- Keyboarding speed of 30 wpm, accuracy is essential.
- Proficiency with EHR, Microsoft Office programs and pharmacy software.
- Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician certification license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
- Pharmacy Technician Certified Board (PTCB) certification preferred.
- Previous pharmacy experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
