Acquisitions Associate

Patreon is the best place for creators to build exclusive content and community for their fans. We enable creators (podcasters, writers, musicians, illustrators, etc) to connect with their fans directly and make money from their creative work. Creators can sell one-off items from their own shops or offer recurring monthly memberships with exclusive access to their work.

We’re continuing to invest heavily in building the most talented team in the Creator Economy and are looking for an Acquisitions Coordinator to support our mission.

This role can be based in Los Angeles, NYC or SF and open to those who are able to occasionally travel to our San Francisco office.

About the Role

An acquisitions associate is responsible for handling inbound calls and acquiring at scale with an aim of expanding our product market fit. The acquisitions associate should be able to define and communicate findings and strategic best practices based on acquisition work. Additionally the acquisitions associate will manage (alongside the engagement associate) the sourcing, selection, and fullfillment of cross functional creator needs from the broader Patreon team.

About You

• 2-4 years of experience working in the creator space

• Deep passion for the creator economy, emerging digital sectors, and creators in general

• Have experience managing creators, their teams, and their needs

• Take pride in putting creators first, and require that any one joining our acquisition efforts carries this ethos throughout all of their work

• Worked alongside marketing organizations and understand talent selection criteria development and serving competing business needs
