About this role

Join our HVAC Global Operations Aftermarket team as a Material Planning Data Analyst.

The

reports to the Associate Director, Materials, and is directly responsible for materials analytics reviewed at the most senior levels of the organization. The Material Planning Data Analyst must have a strong analytical and data visualization skillset with high attention to detail and a solid understanding of business operations and processes.

The Material Planning Data Analyst role is hybrid but mostly onsite in Syracuse to support the Aftermarket Planning Operations at this facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development & deployment of automated tools and dashboards in support of operations and business leaders
• Work closely with the planning & operations teams, understand pain points, and use data to drive proactive improvement metrics
• Collect & analyze data from various data sources, i.e., ERP, Databases, Excel, SharePoint
• Use data visualization, turn sophisticated data into simple & easy to understand narratives for senior business leaders and operations stakeholders
• Contribute to the organization’s analytics roadmap, identify ways to best develop & use predictive analytics to improve business outcomes

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics
• 1+ years of experience in data visualization and data management

Preferred Qualifications

• Statistics & data modeling
• Create dashboards, scorecards, and other data-driven deliverables
• Power BI or Tableau
• R or Python
• Microsoft i.e., Excel, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Query
• ERP systems, i.e. Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP
• Relationship builder and optimal engager with business and technical teams
• Strategic communication skills
• Big-picture thinker, problem solver

Pay Range:

$74,181 - $130,206 Annually
