ABOUT THE ROLE


We are looking for driven and motivated individuals to join our Distribution Centre as Full Time Regular Warehouse Team Members. We have a wide range of roles available within our DC Team. Within all roles, you will support your team and other functions to deliver smooth operations by using correct systems, equipment and Safe Operating Procedures, as well as performing other operational tasks as required. Our team members may work across a variety of departments depending upon the needs of the day. This is a great way for our team to build their skills across different parts of the warehouse ensuring you’re always being developed at Cotton On. These expectations drive my success: 

· I role-model and coach my team on safe behaviours; I respond to, report and investigate hazards, near-misses and incidents. 

· I lead a team to provide both responsive and preventative maintenance support to the Distribution Centre, including; equipment servicing, external grounds, automation, waste removal, and site hygiene. 

· I engage key contractors and other external stakeholders where necessary to negotiate and procure services required by the Distribution Centre. 

· I build and maintain a sustainable level of competence in the use and maintenance of equipment on site to improve overall site uptime. 

· I monitor, forecast and plan wages, labor and resources accurately and effectively using Group tools. 

· I solve problems and deliver continuous improvements that drive people, operational and cost performance for my function. 

· I communicate and present functional performance to key stakeholders. 

· I lead the COG Way and build a team of engaged Brand and product ambassadors. 

· I manage mine and my team’s HPAs to deliver the Group strategy, and act within our Frameworks.

 

My performance is measured on:

Safety: Compliance, Lost time injury (LTI), LTI Frequency rate (LTIFR) 

· Overall work rate (OWR) 

· Cost Per Unit (CPU) 

· Downtime of business critical equipment 

· Wages

· Productivity 

· Accuracy 

· Values 

· Team engagement 

· Team retention 

· Team annual leave taken 

· Team internal moves

 

Skills I need to perform are:

· Qualification in one of; Engineering, Fitting, Electrical.
