The Boeing Company is currently seeking Entry Level Software Engineers to join the Cabin Experience Network Software Engineering Team located in Everett, Washington or Seattle, Washington.
This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) business organization.
Boeing’s Software Enterprise Team is looking for Entry Level Software Engineers capable of contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle (requirements, architecture, design, coding, and verification).
The individual will participate in development various airborne/ground software projects. You will assist with documenting of software requirements, architectures, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. You will develop and maintain code and integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
The position will assist with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met as well as gather information to support software project management. Lastly, you will document deployed processes and tools and collect metrics and you will support software research and development projects.

This position requires 10% travel.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with all phases of the software development lifecycle (requirements, architecture, design, prototypes, coding, and verification)
- Responsible for developing technical solutions, products, plans, documentation, and briefings in support of program requirements.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
To be considered for this position you will be required to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry by Aug 2024
- Experience in at least one or more of the following languages: C++, Java, Python
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience using common software version control tools such as Git.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting technical problems involving computer memory or timing considerations.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps planning tools
- Experience with Window, Linux, Yocto, or Ubuntu
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
