About the role

What You Can Expect

As the Electrical Engineer (EE) Senior Advisor in Houston, Texas for ENGIE’s Flexible Generation & Retail Global Business Unit (FGBU) in North America you will be responsible for electrical and power systems engineering support for development, construction, and operating projects. Everyday, you will report to the Systems Engineering Director working alongside a team to ensure that proper electrical design is utilized in all projects, supporting development teams through the interconnection study process, and providing quality oversight of electrical design and construction throughout FGBU’s North American operations.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in electrical engineering, industrial, utility, or construction environments
  • Expert knowledge of Electrical Engineering expertise including transmission systems, high voltage substations, AC/DC conversions, DC applications such as batteries, and all aspects of industrial facility AC electrical systems
  • Ability to create, read and interpret construction plans and specifications

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; three (3) days in office
  • Must be available to travel domestically / internationally up to 25% of the time with some over night stay
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • This position consist of 10% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions
  • Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and enter confined spaces

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $128,400 – $196,765 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
