What You’ll Be Doing:

Evolent is looking for a Sr. Director of Operations Finance to join its team of Finance professionals working to advance Evolent’s mission. This role will report into Evolent’s Finance team and jointly support the Finance and Operations teams. Operations Finance at Evolent is a specialized FP&A function with more intensive partnership with Operations given the thousands of employees required to support Evolent’s 70+ client partnerships. The Operations Finance function is focused on headcount forecasting, translating operational intelligence into business insights, and delivering strategic thought partnership to cross-functional stakeholders.

The primary responsibilities of the Sr. Director include:

• Leading, managing, and developing a high performing international team of six people with a culture focused on serving as a trusted partner to the Finance and Operations teams
• Integrating Operations Finance activities that were previously managed in five separate legacy businesses and streamlining to align with the enterprise-wide processes
• Driving enterprise-wide initiatives including expansion of international operations, client profitability analytics / cost allocations, and building tools to support new business
• Working with the Operations teams on a day-to-day basis to model the resources required to support our business (changes in membership, change in scope, new business) and then translate those changes in resources into financial impact for Operations and Finance planning intelligence
• Coordinating with the rest of the Finance team to understand how we have priced new business so that we can prepare our Operations teams for the staffing required to support growth, and monitor performance after go-live to validate forecasting assumptions
• Maintaining monthly headcount / operations forecast and consolidating the associated financial impacts and business intelligence into the monthly forecast process managed by the FP&A team
• Building trusted relationships with business leaders and stakeholders by providing financial perspectives on business drivers and supporting strategic decision making as a thought partner
