Job Description

• Under supervision, the consultant will provide immigration and social security support and manage cases for a specific portfolio of clients.
• Ensure immigration compliance to clients, managing visa and residency permit applications
• Liaise with colleagues, network and clients to ensure cases are on track.
• Draft emails to clients and authorities that are to be reviewed by senior colleagues in relation to immigration and social security requests
• Keep key clients up to date with developments in local immigration law/processes.
• Ad-hoc project work to streamline/improve processes.
• Provide administrative support as required, including billing responsibilities, record updates, document review and tracking, monitoring/confirming upcoming expiries and ad hoc admin tasks.
• Become immigration expert and encourage knowledge sharing within the team

Qualifications

• Minimum degree, preferably in law but other majors will be welcome
• Good teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving and time management skills
• Able to demonstrate resilience, self-motivation and a positive can-do attitude
• Hard working and committed to completing tasks well with good attention to detail 
• Good written and spoken English, (French and German will be a plus)
• Computer skills: MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Open to work on designated platforms
• Must be willing to travel if required
