Mission Statement:

Lead liquid-filled distribution transformers technology and product development team at Transformers Technology Center Poland. Leverage project management and line management competences and experience for successful delivery of projects according to agreed roadmap.

Responsible to lead the team and to provide direct support. Take care of team spirit. Represent the team perspective, drive for consensus, buy-in and decisions. Ensure efficient communication within the team and other parts of organization. Develop opportunities to demonstrate capabilities and potential of the team. Enable team members development and career path. Take care of stakeholders management to understand demands. Prepare planning, capacity and competence to respond successfully to expectations.

Main Accountabilities:

Team Manager:

• Tasks definition, allocation, monitoring and evaluation
• Approvals according to workflows
• Costs control and reporting
• Participate in candidates review and selection
• New team members onboarding
• Performance evaluation process
• Discover and register demands from key stakeholders
• Collect feedback about team performance and drive improvement actions
• Develop master plan for the team
• Report team deliverables upon agreed KPIs
• Detect, register and respond to threats and opportunities
• Apply methods and practices best for the team performance
• Guide team members through difficult tasks
• Local processes ownership
• Team safety during in office and in travel; assembly, and measurements

Technology and Product Development:

• Execution of project related tasks
• Invention disclosures, patents, and IP topics
• Generating ideas for new R&D projects
• Compliance with R&D projects governance and gate model
• Preparing project and test reports

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

Project Management:

• Experience in leading projects and risk management
• Project management certificate (will be a plus)
• Familiar with tools like MS Project, Azure DevOps (nice to have)

Domain knowledge:

• Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and/or physics
• Transformers technology (will be a plus)

Education:

• Degree in engineering or project management
