Rent Ready Quality Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

SoLa Impact is currently seeking a dynamic Rent Ready Specialist to join our high-performing team. The Rent

Ready Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that SoLa’s Rent Ready Apartments are delivered in a high-

quality manner, necessitated to pass 3rd party housing inspections, and to meet the internal standards of the

company. This individual will work closely with the Maintenance, Leasing and Property Management teams to

ensure all units are ready for occupancy in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

● Meet with vendors and/or Maintenance staff to walk and punch units in the turnover process as Rent Ready

● Utilize a standardized inspection to punch units, ensuring they meet SoLa’s internal quality standards and will pass 3rd party inspections and scrutiny

● Hold vendors and/or Maintenance accountable in meeting turnover process deadlines and ensure timely unit turnover

● Ensure units have all appropriate keys, communicate unit status to colleagues and maintain unit status in internal systems

● Communicate with the property management team regarding the status of units

● Communicate with other departments, such as leasing and maintenance, to ensure coordination and consistency in property management

● Audit portfolio-wide work order status, follow up on work order quality and ensure work was done timely and to SoLa standards

● Pre-inspect apartment units which are schedule for Section 8 inspections, identify items which may trigger a failed inspection and work with the respective Property Management team to clear the issue prior to the inspection
