Equipment Operator

Valard Construction USA is a premier utility contractor based out of the US and part of the Quanta Group, the largest electrical power contractor in North America. Valard has full-service capabilities for transmission, distribution, substations, foundations, telecommunications, and renewable energy. Valard Construction USA is a non-union US contractor.

Valard Construction LLC is seeking a qualified Traffic Control Flagger to join our US Operations team. We are looking for a self-motivated, team player, dedicated individual who is willing to work as part of a dynamic team that provides crucial support to Valard’s projects. Equipment Operators will be performing work in the Spartanburg/Greenville, SC area. This is a full time position working Monday to Saturday.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years' experience operating heavy equipment, such as a loader, dozer, digger derrick, and/or bucket truck
• Familiar with loading, offloading, and hauling equipment
• Must be able to perform daily cleaning of equipment
• Must be able to consistently lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Operate all heavy equipment in a safe, efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
• All other duties as required by crews
• Ability to take direction
• This is a year-round outdoor position and you will be working in all weather conditions
• Teamwork, organizational and communication skills
• Punctual and reliable
• Previous construction experience would be considered an asset
• Must be located in or around the Spartanburg/Greenville, SC area
• Driver's license required
