Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a key role in sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top talent for various positions within Bradley Company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of recruitment best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with candidates and hiring managers. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process while promoting our company's values and culture.
Location: Indianapolis, IN, 46240
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Hybrid
Essential Functions
Staffing and Recruitment Strategy:
- Collaborates with hiring managers to assess and determine staffing needs.
- Researches and implements effective recruitment platforms and tools to improve candidate sourcing and engagement.
- Recommends and applies best-in-class interview, screening, and recruitment processes to ensure high-quality hires.
- Publishes job openings across various recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, Indeed, etc.) to maximize candidate visibility.
Candidate Screening & Selection:
- Evaluates and screens resumes to identify qualified candidates.
- Conducts initial candidate screenings via phone and in-person interviews.
- Administers reference checks and background checks to evaluate candidate suitability.
- Coordinates interviews and follows up with hiring managers to ensure smooth scheduling and feedback.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
- Maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders (hiring managers, HR team) and external clients (employment agencies, candidates) to meet staffing goals.
- Serves as a liaison with employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations to foster talent pipelines.
Internship & Job Fair Coordination:
- Assists with internship programs to attract emerging talent.
- Represents the company at job fairs across various regions (e.g., South Bend, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids) to promote company culture and recruit talent.
Administrative & Compliance Support:
- Audits and prepares recruitment-related invoices, keeping track of bill-back percentages for recruitment costs.
- Assists in maintaining job folders and applicant tracking logs to ensure compliance with affirmative action plans.
- Supports HR department with intranet content, document updates, and processing DocuSign requests.
- Stays informed on company policies and legal requirements related to employment practices to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
Onboarding and General HR Support:
- Collaborates with HR Generalists and Bradley Ambassadors to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new hires.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the HR function as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced organization required
- High school diploma required, Bachelors degree in a related field strongly preferred
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills required
