PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $104,000.00-$126,900.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $80,800.00 - $150,200.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. As a Cybersecurity Administrator at BECU, you’ll be a critical guardian of our digital ecosystem, ensuring that our security infrastructure remains strong, resilient, and compliant with industry and regulatory standards. To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, NC, CA or VA. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Implement and enforce enterprise security policies and frameworks aligned with NIST, CIS, and FFIEC guidelines to protect sensitive member and organizational data for enterprise level projects and programs.
- Manage identity and access controls across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, ensuring least-privilege principles and robust authentication mechanisms.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to integrate security requirements into enterprise projects and ensure compliance with regulatory mandates such as GLBA and PCI DSS.
- Bring a curious, innovative mindset to proactively guide project teams and business partners through complex cybersecurity requirements, ensuring secure and compliant solutions across all initiatives.
- Implement Firewall Rules: Implement firewall rules and other cyber requirements for the enterprise level projects.
- Fulfill Identity and Access Management (IAM) Requests: For projects that require access and other IAM functions, fulfill as needed for the task.
- Implement Cybersecurity Requirements: For all enterprise level projects, they must fulfill the list of cybersecurity requirements, and the administrator will help guide them through the requirements in order to go into production.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation: Including procedures, processes, architecture diagrams, and reference materials, to ensure accurate knowledge transfer and seamless handoff to operational teams.
- Administer Security Functions: Manage user accounts, reports, dashboards, and automate workflows for streamlined operations.
- Educate and Empower: Train new users and share knowledge through articles and media to strengthen cybersecurity awareness across BECU.
- Drive Vulnerability Management: Develop and maintain a robust program to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
- Collaborate on Projects: Partner with the cybersecurity operations teams’ on security initiatives that enhance our defenses.
