Description
Temple University’s Department of Psychology is looking for a Research Assistant
Position Summary:
This individual will work closely with PI/supervisor and intern research assistants in the Research in Spatial Cognition Lab to ensure smooth functioning of an active research laboratory. Studies in this lab relate to the intersection of cognitive science and geoscience education and practice. The lab’s studies involve collecting questionnaires, psychometric, and behavioral data. The RA will also ideally have basic knowledge of Qualtrics survey-building software. One or more years of experience conducting experiments with human participants is necessary.

Required Education & Experience:
*BA/BS in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or related field and two or more years of experience working in a research setting conducting experiments with human subjects.
Required Skills & Abilities:
*Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
*Familiarity with basic statistical tests or completed at least one course in statistics
Preferred
*Interest in attending graduate school
*Interest in applied cognitive science
*Excellent interpersonal, leadership, writing, and organizational skills
*Basic knowledge of Qualtrics survey building software
