About the Team:

As part of the IT Partner Management Team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining ZF Global IT’s Vendor Management strategy, tools, processes, optimization of the pool, supporting strategic initiatives.
You will have to establish and maintain strong partnership with key stakeholders of the IT, Purchasing and Controlling Department, identify opportunities how to improve quality of service, optimize costs of external products and service providers, improve compliance awareness, improve transparency and quality of governance.
Your internal key partners will be associate teams within IT Governance and Management Department (e.g., like Software Asset Management, Performance Management, Service Management, Compliance Assurance, Skills and Talent Management, Strategy and Process Management), Global IT Purchasing, and key stakeholders of the Global IT Department (from Vendor Service Managers to senior executives). 
Areas (categories) in scope: IT Software and Services, IT Hardware and Services, Network and Telecommunication Components and Services, IT Consulting.

 

What you can look forward to as Senior IT Partner Management Consultant (m/f/d):

• Support External Relationship Management activities: Develop and execute monthly, Quarterly and Annual reviews with selected vendors
• Information management: Maintain and Monitor management information in vendor management tools, based on inputs provided by stakeholder departments and external vendors
• Management support: develop and present management summaries on request for C level IT executives
• Negotiation Support: Monitor and Support Central IT Purchasing, especial RfX activities, Negotiations, Escalations
• Performance Management: analyze monthly financial reports and forecasts, support planning and monitoring activities
• Service Management: be fully familiar with quality of running services (e.g., explore monthly SLA reports), status of running projects (Project Portfolio of the given vendor(s))
• Compliance Management: support coordinating of vendors’ and internal stakeholders’ efforts at fields of general IT security and audit topics (e.g., ISO27k, GDPR), industry specific initiatives (e.g., TISAX)
• Asset management: contribute to strategic efforts of Software Asset management initiatives and operational hardware lifecycle management activities
• Knowledge development: contribute to development maintenance and share of VM management related knowledge (framework, initiatives)  

 

Your profile as Senior IT Partner Management Consultant (m/f/d): 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business and/or Financial Administration.
• Manufacturing or Automotive Industry supply chain management work experience is an advantage
• Min. 3-5 years’ experience in a similar field at a multi-country environment, global coverage is an advantage.
• Solid understanding and experience with global technology trends and initiatives (Digitalization, Cloud-shift, Consumption based IT,…)
• Knowledge of IT procurement and sourcing activities and tactics, including RfX management, Contracting, Negotiations, Change Management, Termination activities, Risk management.
• Analytical mindset.
• Proven capability to establish and maintain vendor relationship, data management and influencing running relationship and improvement efforts
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written is a must (Additional foreign language, especially German, is an advantage).
• Strong MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). User experience in with Microsoft Power BI and ERP system (SAP) is an advantage.
