We are seeking a Class A Switcher Driver for immediate hire to support yard movement and local delivery operations.


This role is responsible for safely moving trailers within the yard, performing local deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all DOT and company regulations.


 Key Responsibilities

  • Move trailers in and out of parking stalls
  • Hook and unhook trailers safely and efficiently
  • Perform local deliveries as needed
  • Report equipment or mechanical failures immediately to management
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report issues promptly
  • Comply with all DOT and company policies
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the truck interior and exterior
  • Follow established accident reporting and safety procedures
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with customers
  • Keep accurate records, including vehicle logs and cargo documentation
  • Communicate delays, accidents, or traffic issues via phone or two-way radio

  • Active CDL (Class A) – Required 
  • Ability to read maps and follow written or verbal directions
